A lot of information can easily be accessed online. The Internet has been a great tool for outsourcing information you need.

  • Illegal source: The information in the eBook you want to buy might not be from a trusted source.

Most of this information is taken from unknown sources, sources that don’t tell the truth but spread false information, reading eBooks like that actually misleads you in a strange way.

  • Value not equivalent to the payment fee: This is an important reason you shouldn’t pay for eBooks. The value offered might not be worth the money you want to pay.

Most times the information might not be adequately supplied as expected of the book. It could also be a reduction in what was expected from the book.

This causes disappointment and loss on your side and can be annoying sometimes.

  • Copyright issues: Copyrighting information is a bad way of coming up with sellable contents. Some of these eBooks were not written by their real authors but copied.

Most times they are copied word for word and then branded in a different way. This does not give room for creativity. This is one of the reasons you shouldn’t pay for an eBook.

  • Illegal channel of payment: If the mode of payment is not clean, you shouldn’t pay for the eBook, lest you get scammed. You wouldn’t want to lose your money.

  • Piracy issues: Some premium-tagged eBooks are sometimes cracked and resold. This is also a big reason you shouldn’t pay for an eBook because you aren’t getting the original version of the book but the cracked ones.

There are so many disadvantages to buying pirated eBooks. One of them is not getting to upgrade your eBooks when necessary especially if it is software.

As the cracker would have sealed it from getting updated. That’s no fun, right?

  • Lack of preview for the eBook: I will not pay for an eBook if there’s no preview for it. I need to know what I am purchasing at least; I need to know the worth of what I want to buy with my money.

So if there’s no space for preview, a taste of what is offered you shouldn’t pay for the eBook at all.

  • Unorganized packaging and distribution of the eBooks: If the eBook you want to pay for is not well designed and organized, then you shouldn’t pay for it.

A good eBook should be properly branded, packaged or organized, to at least call the attention of its readers. If the mode of distribution orderly, you shouldn’t pay for the eBook, to avoid loss on your side.

  • Low expectations from the author: It’s necessary to make research on the author of the eBook before paying for it. This is to avoid regrets after making the purchase.

Some authors claim to make premium eBooks but what they have in the eBook is not in line with your expectations at all. This results in a big-time disappointment.

To avoid that you need to research well on the author’s profile to know if he is capable and worthy of purchasing his eBooks.
